Los Angeles' multicultural, alt-rock collective, Ozomatli, discussed their history, their music's relationship to the neighborhoods of the city, and new ideas of community in the digital age, at a symposium March 27th led by Josh Kun, Director of the Lear Center's Popular Music Project. The band invited fans to produce videos for their new anthem "City of Angels" and chose the top five entries. These were posted online and fans voted for the top three. The First Prize winner was Matt Johnston. Check out his winning video:
