Kun Receives Casden Grant to Produce Groundbreaking Musical Study

, Director of the Lear Center's Popular Music Project, is the recent recipient of a $10,000 Casden Institute Faculty Research Grant for his proposal to document African American and Jewish relations in 20th century American life. The project will take the form of a musical anthology, tentatively titled "Go Down Moses: The Secret Musical History of Black-Jewish Relations," and Kun will produce the study.
