The Lear Center's Popular Music Project Director Josh Kun was joined by Leonard Nimoy to discuss Josh's new book, And You Shall Know Us by the Trail of Our Vinyl. The book is an illustrated history of Jewish culture in America as viewed through the music it spawned; it examines Jews` influence on popular music and American culture in a collection of kitschy album covers and entertaining essays on such topics as the rise of the Jewish-American Princess, the psychedelic 1960s in Israel, Jewish fashion and more.
