The Image of the Gay Journalist in Popular Culture

USC's Joe Saltzman will moderate the panel "The Image of the Gay Journalist in Popular Culture" August 5th at this year's Association for Education in Journalism & Mass Communication conference in Boston. Saltzman, director of the Lear Center's Image of the Journalist in Popular Culture project, will be premiering an excerpt from "The Image of the Gay Journalist in Film and TV, 1929-2009". The panel is sponsored by the Entertainment Studies and the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Interest Groups of the AEJMC.
