Josh Kun, director of the Lear Center's Popular Music Project, is featured in the current issue of USC Trojan Family Magazine. Kun, an associate professor at the USC Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism with a joint appointment in the USC College Department of American Studies and Ethnicity, considers music an "incredible passport" as well as a rich guide for every part of living. His books and journalism work express his deep ties to both Jewish and Latino culture, and he's currently putting the finishing touches on his latest book, The Ballad of Tijuana.
