The Lear Center's Hollywood, Health & Society project has announced the deadline for entries to its eleventh annual Sentinel for Health Awards, which recognize exemplary portrayals of health issues in daytime dramas, prime time dramas, prime time comedies,children's programming and global health storyline. Past recognition has been given for storylines about breast cancer, diabetes, HIV/AIDS, alcoholism, disability, fetal alcohol syndrome, car crashes, organ donation, and safe sex.
Entries will be accepted until June 15, 2010.
